If All Of Our Ideas About Eternity
Are Based On A Bundle Of Subjective Influences
And If All Of The Truths We Trust
Are Too Tentative To Survive
The Multiple Tests Of Time
Then We Can Never Know For Certain
If Our Experiences Are Authentic

Our Evolving Concepts Of Truth
Are Limited By Our Language
Our Knowledge Is Laced With Lies
Our Facts Are Infested With Fictions
And Our Religious Dogmas Are Deceptively Written
By Imperfect Priest, Pastors And Popes
Whose Existence On Earth
Have Never Lasted For Long

The Only Thing We Seem To Know For Certain
Is That Our Shifting Perspectives
Are The Products Of Our Prejudices
And That We Have No Unique Abilities
To Accurately Predict The Future
Before It Unfolds

No One We Know
Can See Around Corners
Or Have The Talents It Takes
To Make A Living Man

No Truths Are Self-Evident
When These Truths Are Manufactured
By The Makers Of Myths
And By Materialistic Men
Who Are Passionately Motivated
By Avarice, Power, And Murder
And Who Are The Recipient Of Racial Preferences
Special Privileges And Centuries Of Theft

Our Most Sacred Political And Religious Documents
Were Written By Evil Men
And Our Soundest Principles
Sold To Us By Thieves And Hypocrites
Are Polluted And Contaminated
By The Cancers In Our Culture
The Untruths From Our Institutions
The Refuse From Our Unreason
And By The Thinness Of Tunnel Thinking

We Swear On Bibles Made By Man
And Promise To Tell The Truth
The Whole Truth
And Nothing But The Truth
But No One Who Is Listening
Seems Completely Confident
That Our Assertions Are Accurate And Honest

Time Has Exposed The Sewage
Flowing From Corruptible Churches
And Even The Fool Soon Learns
The Unreliability Of Religious Laws
Enforced By The Advocates Of Inequality
Who Are Living Well On Lies

The Concept Of A Universal God
Remains Unproven And Ephemeral
No Two Gods Are The Same
Every Man And Woman Of The Cloth
Have A Package Of Religious Concepts
From Which He Or She Can Extract
A Perfect Picture Of The Higher Power
That No One Has Ever Seen

Change Is Always Constant
And Nothing Remains The Same
How Can A Mortal Human Say For Certain

With Our Shallow Sense Of Self

Our Superficial Understanding Of Our Environment
Will Not Provide The Tools We Need
To Reset The Sun
To Make A New Moon
To Change A Cloudy Sky
To Command The Grass To Grow
Or To Show A Flea How To Fly

Our Most Potent Prayer
Cannot Alter The Laws Of Nature
Change The Course Of Human Conduct
Eliminate Time And Chance
Or Move A Hill Of Moles

While Self-Help Is Essential To Our Survival
And Critical To Our Quest For Success
Life Is Still A Shot In The Dark
A Gamble Of The Highest Order

And Test The Permanent Principles
That Have Been Taught To Us For Ages
By The Parentage Of Our Philosophy

If We Desire To Lengthen Our Learning
Then We Must Openly Challenge
The Accepted Words Of Wisdom
The Principles Taught To Us By Parents
The Sacred Writings Of Religious Scholars
And All The Other Old And New Truths
That Limit The Size Of Our Thoughts

If The Truths We Trust Are Eternal
Then Why Must These Truths
Be Continually Reinforced, Refueled, And Propped Up
With Harsh Language, Physical Threats,
And Behavior That Is Beastly
And Why Does The Human
Continue To Kill Its Kind
To Preserve Certain Unproven Principles
In The Name Of Eternal Truths
We Maim And Massacre Millions
And We Are Willing To Commit Murder
On Anyone Whose Way Of Thinking
Conflicts With Our Personal Conclusions

Too Often Our Eternal Truths
Are No More Than Political Opinions
The Shallow Sayings Of Snake Oil Sellers
The Ignorant Utterances Of Ancestors
Fantasies Constructed By Arrogant Fools
And Writings Written By Wizards

Despite Hard Evidence To The Contrary
We Are Unwilling To Abandon
Any Long-Held Eternal Truths
That Support Our Outlook On Life
And We Would Rather Suffer
The Pain And Discomfort Of Mental Contradictions
Than To Admit That Our Ideas About Eternity
Are Founded On Shifting Sands

Whenever We Have An Emotional Investment
In An Adopted Way Of Thinking
And We Are Unwilling
To Entertain Any Thoughts
