Seem Unwilling To Admit To Themselves
That Progress Is Impossible To Achieve
If Their Attitudes Are Unalterably Attached
To Opinions Against Their Own Interests

An Individual Who Has No Intention Of Abandoning
The Baggage With Which He Is Burdened
And Who Insist Chaining Himself
To A Cross That He Cannot Carry
Is A Creature Of Contradictions

When A Conformist Finds Comfort
In His Own Group Or Cultural Community
He Is Unlikely To Acknowledge
The Contradictions In His Character
The Inconsistencies In His Conscious
Or The Paradoxes In His Person

All Humans Are Creatures Of Contradictions
And They Have An Enormous Capacity
To Entertain Many Opposing Opinions
In The Arguments They Advance
Without Experiencing Any Intellectual Strain

At The Same Time We Insist On Saving
The Ideologies We Have Inherited
From The Legends We Have Learned
We Say That We Are Unsatisfied
With Our Selected Situations
And The Ways Of Our Chosen World

We Have An Unusual Talent
For Destroying Our Own Dreams
And We Are Most Attracted To Trends
That Can Get Us Into Trouble

Locked In Rigid Uncertainties
By Our Language, Habits And Customs
We Complain About Our Plight And Status
But We Show No Signs Of Accepting
The Inspiring Advice Offered To Us
By The Achievers We Admire

Creatures Of Contradictions Are Common
Among The Wise And Unwise Class
And Behavioral And Ideological Inconsistencies
Are Prevalent Among All People
